IRON MAIDEN: More 'Different World' Single Chart Positions Revealed

According to a posting on IRON MAIDEN's official web site, the band's latest single, "Different World", has achieved the following European chart positions:

Hungary: #1
U.K.: #3
Denmark: #3 (last week #27)
Finland: #6
Spain: #7 (last week #8)
Greece: #9 (last week #13)
Sweden: #11
Ireland: #39
Germany: #40

The "Different World" single debuted on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart last November at position No. 7. The Hot 100 Singles Sales (also known as Singles Sales) is a chart released weekly by Billboard magazine in the United States. It measures sales of commercial singles and is one of three component charts, along with the Hot 100 Airplay and the Hot Digital Songs, that determine the chart positions of singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

IRON MAIDEN's new album, "A Matter of Life and Death", has sold 155,000 copies in the United States since its Sept. 5 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
